Privacy Policy

We process as little data as possible — and never train on your designs.

Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Applies to the Localify Figma plugin and uxlocalify.com

1. Overview

Localify ("we", "us") makes a context-aware AI translation plugin for Figma. This policy explains what data the plugin and website collect, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the rights you have. By using the plugin or the website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Contact

Privacy questions: [email protected].

3. Data we process

3.1 Text you translate

When you translate, only the text you select in Figma is sent to the translation provider you choose — DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, Kimi, MiniMax, or your own endpoint under Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). Design files, layers, images, and layout data are never sent. We do not store translations on our servers, and we do not use them for training.

3.2 API keys and BYOK configuration

Cloud API keys are stored encrypted in the plugin's local storage on your device. With BYOK, your key is sent only to the endpoint you configure. We never see or store your raw key.

3.3 License and account data

When you purchase Pro or a top-up, we process: your license key, the Figma account identifier the license is bound to, and order records. This data is used to activate, validate, and manage your license.

3.4 Payment data

Payments are processed by Creem. We receive order confirmation and status information from Creem, but not your card details.

3.5 Support communications

If you email us, we use your message and any files you attach only to respond and resolve your issue.

3.6 Website data

The website stores theme and language preferences in your browser's localStorage and keeps demo interactions on your device. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies on uxlocalify.com. As with any website served through Cloudflare, standard edge logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request path) may be processed by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.

4. Why we process this data

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors above or where required by law.

6. Retention

7. International transfers

Localify is served through Cloudflare's global network, and the LLM providers you choose may process text in various regions. Where applicable law requires safeguards for cross-border transfers, we rely on standard contractual protections and the providers' compliance programs.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR or CCPA-style laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email [email protected] with your request; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, store API keys encrypted and locally, and keep data handling minimal by design. Because the plugin uses zero middleware, there is no intermediary service that can access your selected text.

10. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The website and demo may write the following items to your browser's localStorage: theme preference (localify-theme), language preference (localify-lang), and demo state (localify-demo-targets, localify-demo-translations). You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated policy.
