Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for the Localify Figma plugin and website.

1. Agreement
By installing or using Localify (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Localify is a Figma plugin that translates UI text while preserving rich text and reflowing layouts automatically. It also operates the website uxlocalify.com. We may add, change, or remove features, and we will not be liable for temporary unavailability.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must have a valid Figma account to use the plugin. Your license keys are bound to your Figma account; do not share them. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Plans and credits
Credits are the unit of translation usage. 1 credit = 100 source characters of the original text you translate. Design context and glossary are never charged.

- Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over, except purchased top-ups, which never expire.
- Credits are measured on the original source text; characters are counted once per translation request.
- Current prices are those displayed on the website at purchase time. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
5. Payments, license keys, and refunds
Payments are processed by Creem. After purchase, a license key is delivered to you and binds to your Figma account when activated. Subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle you selected and can be cancelled through Creem; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period unless required by law or Creem's refund policy. Refunds are handled in accordance with Creem's applicable refund policy and mandatory local law.
6. Bring your own key (BYOK)
With BYOK, you supply an API key for a model provider of your choice. You are responsible for your key, its usage, and compliance with your provider's terms. Your key is stored encrypted on your device and sent only to the endpoint you configure. We are not responsible for the availability, quality, or accuracy of third-party providers' output.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or overload the Service; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent its protections; resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission; use it to generate unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or interfere with other users' use of the Service.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, design, and content belong to Localify. Your designs and content remain yours. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them to improve the Service.
9. AI output and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated translations may contain errors or be unsuitable for your brand voice; you are responsible for reviewing output before use. Localify does not guarantee that translations will be accepted by any platform or meet any particular quality standard.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Localify is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Localify harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
12. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, violate applicable law, or fail to pay amounts due. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations accrued before termination. Purchased credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Upon termination, your license key stops working and any unused subscription credits are forfeited (top-up credits may be treated per applicable law).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be dated here and posted on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
